Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) is one of the efficiently working institutes; it is a private university of Pakistan in regards of great leader Mohammed Ali Jinnah. Its main campus is in Karachi and the other campus is in Islamabad. MAJU was established in 1998 after granting the charter by the Government of Sindh. MAJU has the status of comprehensive universities. Part of a group of Punjab Universities & colleges Dr. Abdul Wahab, former Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University, is currently president of the university.  The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan gives it higher status among education institutes.

Study Departments in Mohammad Ali Jinnah University

Mohammad Ali Jinnah University contains department of computer science, electronics, engineering and biological sciences at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Business Administration and Social Sciences, there are departments of business administration, economics and social sciences.

In addition to purely academic programs, MAJU operates training programs, seminars and workshops. The university began doctoral programs in computer science, electrical engineering, and management science.
