UAF Intermediate Admission Form
The university places high consideration on the development of new products and technologies for promoting knowledge-based economies. The faculty has developed a number of crop varieties, agriculture implements, vaccines, processes, products, and technologies. Under a special initiative, several technology transfer projects and outreach programs have been carried out for the adoption of the technologies developed at UAF. Community building and social mobilization through outreach and skill development courses are one of important portfolios at the UAF. The university organizes exhibitions, horse and cattle shows, and Goat and bird shows, which attracts farmers, entrepreneurs, and the community at large. Special initiatives have been taken for gender development like the establishment of the Day Care Centre, Working Women’s Medical Centre, Women’s Residential Complex, Women’s Gymnasium, and Ethics Committee. To increase access to education the meritorious students unable to afford their education, are provided Financial Assistance.
Applications on prescribed forms are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the Intermediate (Pre-Agriculture) Certificate of two years duration. The last date to submit the University of Agriculture Faisalabad Intermediate Admission 2023 applications is 13th August 2023 (extendable, if required) within office hours in the Office of the Principal, UAF Community College at Department of Chemistry and Bio-Chemistry, Old Campus, Faisalabad. 1st Merit list will be displayed on August 20, 2023, on the Notice Board of the Principal which can also be perused on the website.
Now let’s have a little overview of the University, in the year 1906 a college named Punjab Agricultural College and Research Institute was established in Faisalabad then after the independence this was the only college for agricultural education in the country so the college was upgraded to the University level in 1961. The University comprises 500 faculty members and half of them are Ph.D. Degree holders.
