University of Health Sciences UHS issued a list of three banned medical colleges for students to take admission in MBBS and BDS Programs. This public notice is issued by a well known newspaper in Pakistan Jang in which the official of the UHS said that the following private sector Medical and Dental Colleges have been restrained from making admission to first year MBBS and BDS Program so all those candidates who take admission in these colleges are responsible for them self as after the completion of their degrees in any of the program whether it is MBBS or BDS it will just be a piece of paper which is useless. So it is very important for candidates to view UHS Affiliated Private Medical Colleges List so that their degree is affiliated from the recognizing authority and after completing their education they can start their professional career.
University of Health Sciences were established in year 2002 and now this year in 2013 it is declare to be the top number 1 university in Public sector in whole Pakistan. This ranking is issued by the Higher Education Commission HEC the higher education regulatory body of all Pakistan Educational Institutes. The MCAT test which is the medical colleges admission test is also the responsibility of the UHS to conduct and prepare result of that test because on the base of that test admissions are granted to the candidates in different private and public sector Universities that is why it is important for all the the private medical colleges to get affiliation from the UHS. The reason is not defined that why UHS banned these medical colleges to start first year admission in MBBS or BDS but the list is issued and here is the Colleges
The colleges which are banned by the UHS are
- Hashmat Medical and Dental College, Jalal Pur Jattan, Gujrat
- Pak Red Crescent Medical and Dental College, Lahore
- Independent Medical College, Faisalabad
