In Pre-Engineering group among girls:
Anam Sadiq of Punjab College got first position with 1025 marks. Aysha Zulfiqar and Maryam Khalid got second and third position with 1016 and 1015 marks respectively.

THE Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, on Friday announced the names of position holders of the Annual Intermediate Part II, 2011, examination.

The result of intermediate part-II will be announced on Saturday (today). The names of position holder candidates were announced in a ceremony held in the BISE office.

The BISE chairman announced the names of the position holders. He told the media persons that a special award-distribution ceremony would be held at Al-Hamra Hall-II on Saturday (today) and Education Minister Mujtaba Shuja-Ur-Rehman would be the chief guest on the occasion. He said the names of position holders had been announced a day before the overall result according to the directions of the Punjab government.

According to the results, Hira Iftikhar of Government Kinnaird College for Women won the first position by obtaining 1,039 marks and Javaria Tehzeeb of the Government Kinnaird College for Women got the second position by securing 1,036 marks while three candidates jointly shared the third position. They are Anam Manzoor of Government Kinnaird College for Women, Rubar Haider Jafri of Government Kinnaird College for Women and Ali Ayub of Government Islamia College Civil Lines by getting 1028 marks each.

In Pre-Medical Group (among boys), Muhammad Arslan Arshad of Government College University, Lahore, won the first position by securing 1,021 marks. Ahmad Bani Sardar and Muhammad Hamza of Government College University, Lahore, secured second and third positions by getting 1,018 and 1,013 marks respectively.

Among the girls in aforesaid group, Abeer Shahbaz of Government Queen Marry College secured first position by getting 985 marks. Ramshah Jahangir of Lahore College for Women University, Jail Road, Lahore, stood second by getting 985 marks. In Commerce Group (among boys), Muhammad Ashfaq of Punjab College, Okara, secured first position by getting 975 marks. Bilawal Munir of Government MAO College secured second position by getting 960 and Mubashar Humayon of Punjab College of Commerce, Rawaz Garden, Chouburji, secured third position by getting 956 marks.

In Commerce Group (among girls), Fareeha Waseem, Asma Abdul Razzaq and Rabia Fayyaz of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, stood first, second and third by getting 994, 987 and 968 marks respectively.
