Lahore Development Authority LDA was established under the LDA Act of 1975 by the Punjab Legislative Assembly. This department is responsible for the new constructions, renovations of the governmental buildings, Water and Sanitation conditions in whole city. It also manages Lahore parks and green areas. The LDA was shifted to its new current building. The old LDA building was situated in central Lahore since 1975 and from 2013 this building is functioning in its new building.
