How To Apply For PEC Number Online:
Aspirants who want to apply for the PEC Number or Online registration card can apply online at portal.pec.org.pk. There you have to click on New Registration in order to do registration for first time. But if you are already registered than you have to click on Renewal of registration. A person can do registration through two different ways.
- Registration Through Engineering Practice Examination (EPE)
- Registration through Interview
Registration through EPE:
An engineer who is already registered can apply for the professional engineer code or card through EPE test if they have minimum five year experience in relevant field. For this certificate, candidate must have engineering degree, acquisition of minimum 17 CPD Points and have to pass EPE exam.
Registration Through Interview:
A candidate can apply for the professional PEC registration number as professional engineer through interview. A candidate must have 10 year of experience in relevant field if he / she want to acquire this status. It is compulsory to have accredited engineering qualification, and also have to clear interview which will be conducted by the enrollment committee.
