How to Improve Education System in Pakistan?

The education system is not developed according to need. Millions of people are out of school and work in different sectors as labor. We need to change the education system in Pakistan because education is a basic need for every child. For this purpose, we mentioned some suggestions for all ages people.

  • Identifying Flaws
  • Use Modern Technology
  • Remodel Assessments
  • Upgrade Teaching Methods

Identifying Flaws

There are a lot of flaws in education like the Lack of books, the syllabus is not accurate, infrastructure not available in several areas of Pakistan, Lack of Teachers, the teaching method is not accurate, and some others.

  • 1st Flaw: Everyone cannot buy books and the government announced to deliver books free of cost. But right now, in the majority of government school free books does not exist. If government provide books on time to the students without any cost we can say thousand of people will take Admission again.
  • 2nd Flaw: The syllabus is not accurate according to need. Basically, when we make syllabus then adopt old methods. On the other hand, many people exist on the committee of the education department who make syllabus but they never know about them. If we add some experience professors who better know which syllabus is perfect for our children.
  • 3rd Flaw: infrasture is a basic problem in our education system. Especially in backward areas because the government just focus on urban areas for the infrastructure of government school, colleges, and universities. But if we talk about rural areas so no university, no college, and few schools exist. On the other hand, in northern areas, the government failed to build educational institutes. We need to full fill this gap and then our education system will develop.
  • 4th Flaw: A shortage of teachers is still available in Pakistan. Those teachers who exist never know how to deliver knowledge to the students in a modern way. Still, they are using old methods and this is a major problem in our education system. Basically, the teacher is a mentor for students, and they better know about students’ future. They can do good career counseling. We need to change the method of teacher recruitment and change the training before joining any school.

Use Modern Technology

In all government schools, colleges, and universities modern technology does not exist. Previously when COVID come to Pakistan then all private institutes moved on to modern technology but unfortunately, the government closed all public institutes because they never know how to move on to modern technology. First of all, the government needs to hire some expert people and give training to all teachers

If we discuss other foreign countries’ education systems they moved on to technology many years ago. Even they give classes online to the students because they have built a good education system. We need to install the latest computer labs in all public institutes.

Remodel Assessments

We need to change the academic testing system in schools and colleges because parents play a good role in the education of their children. Just take a test from all students on a weekly basis and send a digital report on parents’ numbers. Moreover, at the end of every month organize the parents-teacher meeting and discuss the progress with students’ parents.

Upgrade Teaching Methods

The government needs to update the method of teaching in public sector institutions and adopt modern ways like practically. Moreover, on a daily basis, they give lectures to the students, and when the lecture will close they ask different questions from students. The teacher will understand how many students have understood this lecturer.

Development Of Education In Pakistan Essay

Pakistan has very strong and leading policies of Education but unfortunately, the education system of Pakistan is still weak. Due to the difference between education in urban and rural areas education is divided into two standards. The education which is offering in rural areas is low cost and low class due to a lack of facilities and advancement. But in urban areas, a high level of education with advanced and modern techniques is taught to the students. So that for getting advanced study the rural students doesn’t afford the urban education along with all other expenses so the education standards don’t match with each other. It is all about the How to Improve Education System in Pakistan?.

Due to still deficiencies and weaknesses in the educational infrastructure in Pakistan teachers are also responsible for this issue. The teachers should be able to make an interest and deliver the right education to their students. Teachers play important in developing or shaping students. The government should try to organize teachers’ institutes where proper training of teachers should be conducted to promote the level of education in Pakistan because teachers are the major assets of a country.

The other major factor that is causing a barrier to the promotion and success of education in Pakistan is that the new minister of education implies his own rule and policies. There is no stability in government which also leads to the slow development of the education system as compared to other countries.

Pakistan is divided into four provinces; all these provinces are following their own rules and policies of education. There is no uniformity and sequence in the syllabus of all four provinces of Pakistan. There is also a major difference between books, Syllabus, and paper patterns, and also the major one is the teaching method.

These are the common logical point due to the education development of Pakistan is still slow with respect to other countries. Our government should try to bring awareness regarding education, conduct seminars, and organize teacher training institutes, promote education in rural areas, uniformity in syllabus among four provinces, teaching methods and techniques, and stability of the education minister are the important factors that can improve and develop the better education system in Pakistan. So this is the How to Improve Education System in Pakistan?.

  3. yes, It is a historically proven fact that education sector plays a vital role in the success of any nation and this reality should must be considered by the pakistani nationals, government, and LEGISLATURES also.
I especially highlighted the legislature body, because there are some very basic steps which should be taken by the legislatures of our nation. Not very far, I talk about India. In the said country education is a constitutional right and according to law constitutional right can be claimed by court by any of the convicted person. In very simple words it can be said that if any one has not been facilitated by his right to get education he can go to court for this constitutional violation that government has not provided him his constitutional right (education). Whereas, in Pakistan; there is no such situation and no one can go to the court that he has not been awarded by education here education is not a constitutional right.
I am not idealizing the Indian education system, I have just quoted one of the good thing of their education system.
As i quoted above that in India any one can go to the court against said constitutional violation but, in Pakistan you have no such option to raise your voice for the same. Now, what is the practicing in Pakistan; we have to go to the political workers, politicians and political parties which is not a proper channel and which may not be the authority for constitution of school and up-gradation of any school e.g. up-gradation of primary school to middle etc.
and the other one thing which i also appeal to the educationists that yes, it is no doubt a truth; we are the 9th largest English Speaking Nation of the world and 3rd largest of the Asia. Now, I push a question to the educationists whether, china, Japan Jermany etc. are in the up above 8 largest english speaking nations no not at all.
Now I put one more question to our educationists. If you check the top ten nations of the world regarding economic success, education development or any type of development; are they developed countries just because of English speaking, Never. Yes, it is a fact that English speaking countries are developed countries but they have made this development because of their other capacities and capabilities not because of this ,that they are English Speaking Nations. Yes, as we are under developed countries we should try to learn from the successful nations but we should learn the key skills and key areas of them which make them able, that people of the whole world are trying to learn their language and trying to adopt the fess ions of that nations. We should adopt their school systems, their education system but we should never force our coming generations to burn their time, hard working capability and talent to learn a new language in-spite of learning and searching his subject.
At last I request to the common nationals of Pakistan that please focus on education and put an appeal to the private sector to invest in education sector to build a strong nation in coming years.
