Eligibility Criteria for Admissions
These are the eligibility criteria according to 2019. This year, the criteria are expected to be the same.
- The candidates who have passed FSc pre-medical with at least 70% marks.
- It is compulsory to pass the NUMS MDCAT 2020 with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Foreign or overseas candidates are also required to pass HSSC pre-medical or equivalent with at least 70% marks in at least three subjects including Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Maths.
- Foreign/Overseas candidates must pass the NUMS MDCAT 2020 with at least 60% marks or SAT-II with 550/800 or foreign MCAT with 500/528. They have to provide the equivalence certificate by IBCC at the time of registration.

MBBS Course of 5 years Duration:
Every year the number of Seats vary a little bit from the given idea but mostly is revolve around the figure of 110 to 120 seats in all but again these seats are divided into many parts like out of 120 seat half of the seats reserved for the Regular cadet enrolled in the Pakistan Army and remaining half are for the Paying Cadet and NUST Cadet. 10 seats are reserved for the girls and by this way, these 120 seats are filled every year.
Mostly this course has 20 to 40 seats every years and the dividing rules of these seats are same as it is of the MBBS 5 Years Course.

The test is now taken by NUMS as from the last year, it conducts the entry test from all the candidates. It is taken by the officials of the NUMS and all the candidates appear in it.
