Another good news for the people of Lahore is that Changa Manga Spring Basant Festival From 21 Feb to 5th March 2014 so now all the Lahori’s Can enjoy their traditional Basant Festival this year. This news is announced by the Hamza shahbaz Sharif while addressing to the inaugural Ceremony of the Punjab Youth Festival. one of the reason to allow this spring Basant Festival is to provide youngster a entertainment as there is a ban on kite flying since last 4 years due to death of many people because of the chemical thread used for kite flying. Another reason to allow the kite flying permission is the continuous pressure from the kite flying association on the provincial government.So the government of the Punjab provide another chance to the youngster so that they can fly kites in the sky and can joy the festival. but this time the permission of kite flying is limited to one place that is Changa Manga which is about 70 km away from the Lahore. The permission of kite flying is not given in the city of Lahore but those who wanted to fly can go to the changa Manga from 21st February, 2014 till 5th March, 2014

As there are some youngster that are really happy that the permission is given by the government on the same time there are sme teenagers who are still very angry that why the permission is not given in Lahore as they cannot travel to 70km away from the city to enjoy the festival. they say there are many problems and one of the biggest is that their parent will not allow them to go the changa Manga just for the sake of kite flying. The government of Punjab has made its full proof preparations so that the unusual incident could be decreased as the DCO Kasur responsibility is to look after the whole festival in his own supervision. on the other hand there are really strict orders are issued by the government to take action against those whole breaks the rules and fly kite anywhere else other than Changa Manga.
