NTS Test Eligibility Criteria For NAT, GAT, LGAT

National Testing Service NTS conducts the NAT, GAT (General, Subject) and LGAT test so what are the eligibility criteria for the students to appear in these test are listed here in detail. None of you among you are there who is not familiar with these test as NAT is National Aptitude test, GAT is Graduate Assessment Test and LGAT is Law Graduate Assessment Test. All these test are taken by the different purposes so the eligibility criteria of all these are different from each other but the only thing which is common in these Test is that they all are conducted by the NTS. Government analyze that there is a need of a testing unit who just conduct tests from different organization and produce result without any biasness so then in July 2002 National Testing service NTS came into being. This is the only Public Sector testing agency that conduct the test and assessment for admission purposes, Scholarships, recruitment or more more other purposes. This year in 2013 its been 13 years that NTS is providing their services to different private and Public sector organizations. The mission of the NTS is just to build and promote standard in Educational and professional Testing so there should be no biasness. So here are the other details of the Eligibility Criteria of the NTS Test for all those candidates who wants to appear in the NAT, GAT and LGAT test.

NTS Test Eligibility Criteria For NAT:

NAT Test is National Aptitude Test that is taken for the purpose of the taking admission in the Undergraduate program in universities all over the Pakistan so all those candidates who have done their Intermediate class are eligible for the NAT test. There are many universities that allow admission on the result of NAT Test every year. NAT test is valid for the one whole year so after that candidates have to appear again in the test

NTS Test Eligibility Criteria For GAT:

GAT is Graduate Assessment test and in this GAT there are two sub categories that are GAT Subject and GAT General. GAT General is taken for the admission in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship Schemes. So all those candidates who have done their sixteen years of education are eligible to appear in the test. The validity of the GAT General Test is 2 years.

Other GAT Category is GAT Subject which is taken from all those candidates who wanted to take admission in the PhD programs so the eligibility criteria is that all those candidates who have done their 18 Years of education can apply to appear in the Test. The validity period of the GAT Subject is 2 years. According to the new rules and regulations of the HEC all the candidates who are willing to take admission in the M.Phil or PhD must have GAT Passing certificate in their hand otherwise they are not eligible for admission.

NTS Test Eligibility Criteria For LGAT:

LGAT is Law Graduate Assessment Test and taken from all the candidates who wanted to enrollment as an advocate to practice law so all those candidates who have dome their LL.B examination from any recognized University by Pakistan Bar Council with at least seventeen years of Education are eligible to appear in the LAW GAT. All those candidates who are waiting for the result of LL.B are not eligible to appear in the Test.
