PM Electric Wheelchair Scheme HEC Criteria

• The disabled limit will be such that they can’t move from one place to another without a wheelchair.
• They will not be able to pass any obstacle due to stroke or unfunctional legs.
• They are deprived of one or both legs.
• The applicants must be studying in any government institute recognized by HEC in any province of Pakistan and Kashmir. They must be studying Undergraduate, postgraduate, or MS/MPhil/Ph.D.
• The applicant must have the certificate of relevant authorized authority/Special person from government departments/disabled from walking.
• Those who haven’t received Electric Wheelchair in Phase-1 are eligible.

• All the applicants have to complete their applications and send them to eportal.hec.gov.pk/wheelchair before the last date which is 18th July 2022.
• Now, print your applications and attach all the relevant documents with them and submit them to the office of the vice-chancellor or registrar, or appointed person.
• The institute will check the eligibility then and will send these applications to HEC by 18th July 2022 through a transaction.

Important Points about the Scheme

• The applicants who have already been awarded the wheelchairs in the first phase are not allowed to apply for it.
• Those who can move from one place to another and don’t show much difficulty will not be able to get it.
