Important Information:

Application on prescribed proforma should reach the undersigned within 15 days from the date of advertisement.
Incomplete applications, Advance copies and those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
Candidates will have to produce original certificates at the time of test or interview the photocopies of certificates need not to be attached with the application proforma
Maximum age limit shall be relaxed in respect of the candidates belonging to the following categories.

Candidates belonging to scheduled castes, Buddhist community, Recognized tribes of the tribal areas, Azad Kashmir, Northern Areas, Sindh Rural Areas and Balochistan	3 Years
Released/Retired Officers personnel of the armed forces of Pakistan	15 Years of Number of Years actually served in the armed forces of Pakistan Whichever is less
Government Servants who have completed two years continuous service on the closing date of receipt of Applications	10 Years up to age of 55 years.
Disabled persons for appointment to posts in BPS-15 and below	10 years
Widow, Son or daughter of a deceased civil servant who died during service	5 years

All candidates applying for the above mentioned posts shall be entitled to an upper age relaxation of five years in the maximum age limit given above. This relaxation shall be over and above any other relaxation in age limit, if admissible, Under the rules

MCAT In Pakistan Information:

MCAT is an entrance test which is compulsory to pass for admission in any private or government medical college or university in Pakistan. This test is very important because it decide that either student is willing to get admission or not. Admission criteria in government and private university is divided into three portion and MCAT consist upon 50% marks. Rest of the 50% marks is divided into 10% marks from matriculation and rest of 40% from the intermediate. MCAT is consisted upon the 220 MCQs questions and each question has 5 marks. From 220 questions, 88 questions are from biology, 44 questions from Physics portion, 58 questions from Chemistry and 30 questions from English section. Each correct answer will results in 5 marks while wrong answer will result in 1 mark deduction. Total time is allowed for the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Students, who want to get admission on open merit basis or on reserved seats, must have clear this test with minimum 60% marks. Below than 60% marks will consider fail in this exam. Those students who will fail to qualify will also not eligible to take admission in any public or private medical university. Besides this, this test is valid for only one year and if any student fail to get admission in any medical college, have to appear in the MCAT entry test in next year for admission again.

Inter Services Selection Board ISSB is a department which is responsible for the selections of army, navy and air force officers in Pakistan. Through this committee a candidate who applies for the higher post in armed force, has checked by different psychological, physiological and aptitudes test that either he is eligible for the post or not. This test will decide that either a candidate who is applying for higher post in any branch of armed force is eligible or not. There are three ISSB centers in all across the country and their names are Kohat, Gujranwala and Malir. Time process for ISSB test is four days, in which candidate will pass through interviews and tests. After this test, candidates who qualify this test, will be called for the further process. Selected candidates will be picked from their own bus stations or railway stations. In case a candidate, who will fail to report at time, will not be consider eligible for the test. Boarding and Lodging:

ISSB provides free lodging and bedding to its candidates. Besides this there are only few services are free like eating and sleeping. Candidates have to pay for their cloth washing and pressing. It is advised to eat less and healthy before departing for the ISSB center so you can abstain from the sickness and other stomach diseases. Basic services like barber and laundry will be available there. ISSB center will arrange the bedding for the candidates so you don’t feel worried about it.

Things to Bring With You:

It is advised to bring your own cloths with you to prevent the weather issue. Moreover it also can be purchased from the canteen of ISSB center. Here is the list of cloths or things which every male or female candidate must bring along with them.

One pair of White Track Suit
One pair of Joggers
One white sports shirt
One Jersey

It is also advised to the female candidates to bring their hair pins or bands along with them. Nails must be trimmed in a good way. Female should have to wear the respected dresses. Jewelry items are not allotted to bring with.

Documents:

It is advised to bring the all original documents with you. Photo copies of any document will not be accepted. Following are the documents which you must have bring with you.

Original Matric Certificate of concerned board
Domicile
Original Intermediate mark sheet or certificate is also compulsory
In case a candidate doesn’t have original mark sheet can submit a duplicate mark sheet which must be attested by the Secretary Board
In Case of O/ A level, an equivalence certificate is mandatory to submit

ISSB will provide initial health facilities to the injured candidates but this department will not responsible for the any serious injury. Medical facilities are free of cost and serious injuries will be treated in military hospital. Moreover candidates will be served with the indoor games like table tennis, badminton and TV, newspaper as well. ISSB also pay your fares when you departure to your home from the ISSB. Any prohibited items like, camera, knife, arms etc are strictly forbidden in ISSB center. Once you will enter in the ISSB you will not allowed leaving at your own without permission. If you will bring your mobile phones with you, than it is your responsibility to submit them at reception.
