HITEC University was established in the year 2006 and the first batch of classes was started in 2007 with 250 students. HITEC University has an affiliation with the University of Engineering and Technology UET Lahore but then rite after two years in 2009 government of Pakistan announced this University as a chartered University of Pakistan. The University is totally sponsored by the Heavy Industries Taxila Education Welfare Trust (HITEWT). In such a short period of Time University Currently, the University offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral level programs in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering along with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Islamic Studies and a Master’s in Business Administration and Mathematics.

HITEC University of Taxila Admission 2023 is now open and PMC will conduct the MDCAT test for medical students. As well as the last date for the application submission is January 2023 and 1st merit list will announce on 26 January 2023. So interested candidates will apply before the last date because, after the due date, no application will entertain by the management. On the other hand, this university is affiliated with NUMS and they will announce the merit list.

Eligibility Criteria:

Postgraduate programs:

• BE/B.Sc Engineering in relevant discipline
• Minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 or 50% marks
• GAT General conducted by NTS with a minimum 50% cumulative score

Ph.D. programs:

• MS / M Phil or equivalent (in relevant discipline) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 from an HEC-recognized institution.
• GAT subject test conducted by NTS with a minimum 60% cumulative score or GRE (subject) test with a minimum 60% percentile score.

• HITEC University Taxila Admission Prospectus can be taken from the University Campus from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 am to 3:30 pm.
• Other than that admission form can also be downloaded from the official site as well as from the ilm.com.pk page.

Split Undergraduate Programs:

• 2 years at HITEC University and 2 years at Strathclyde University, UK (declared University of the year 2013 by Times Higher Education)
• The degree Will be awarded by Strathclyde University.
