Eligibility Criteria for Admissions
- For M.Phil programs, the candidate must have completed 4 years of education after Intermediate (with 130 credit hours) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 or 2nd division with at least 50% marks from an HEC-recognized institute.
- For Ph.D. programs, the candidate must have MSc/M. Phil degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 or with 1st division from an HEC-recognized institute in the relevant field.

- In order to apply for admission, visit www.uvas.edu.pk where you can get the form.
- There you have to click the Apply Online option and a new page will open. Register yourself there and then it will proceed.
- After this, the application form will be on your screen. Fill out the form and deposit the admission processing fee in any branch of Bank Alfalah.
- Fill out the form and attach all the required documents and paid challan with the form and submit it to the Directorate of Advanced Studies through postal/courier.
- Incomplete, false info and late applications will not be processed.

- Government employees should attach a copy of the permission letter from the department with the application form.
- HOPE certificate is not eligible.
- 50% of seats are allocated for UVAS graduates and the remaining 50% are open merit.
- Admissions will be on merit and CGPA of the last degree.
