It is a 400 marks test in which there are a total of 100 MCQs that a student has to attempt in 100 minutes. It means you have 1 minute to solve each question but it varies how much time you are giving to one question.

UET Merit Calcultion Formula 2025:

So, after the ECAT test, UET uploads its merit list. The total merit is calculated through a formula. This formula is based on your marks in matric, intermediate, and ECAT this year. The weightage is as follows:

Matric: 25%
Intermediate: 45%
ECAT: 30%

The formula for the calculation of merit is as follows:

Aggregate= (Matric Marks x 0.25) + (Intermediate marks x 0.45) + (ECAT score x 0.30)

So, after this, the merit list is uploaded, if you have a good aggregate, you will be able to see your name in the merit list.
