Why BA/BSc Is Now Called ADA/ADS

Following HEC’s degree reforms, Punjab University replaced the two-year BA and BSc with the Associate Degree in Arts (ADA) and Associate Degree in Science (ADS). The structure for private and college students is still Part-I and Part-II with annual and supplementary exams, so students still search for “BA BSc date sheet”. On the PU website, look for “Associate Degree in Arts/Science” to find your date sheet, roll number slip and result.

How to Find Your Exact Practical Slot

Each subject’s practical is held over several days, with candidates divided into groups (Group I, II, III and so on) and papers (A, B, C, D). Your roll number slip shows your group and centre. Match your group with the official PDF to find your exact date and session (morning or afternoon). Physics has separate papers for the old and new courses, and Geography includes separate map work or practical and viva papers, so check the code printed on your slip.

Roll Number Slip

Download your roll number slip from the PU website’s roll number slip section using your registration number or CNIC, and select the Part-I or Part-II supplementary 2026 exam. You will not be allowed into the practical without it.

Instructions for Candidates (from the official date sheet)

  • Appear only at the centre and in the group shown on your roll number slip; change of centre or subject is not allowed without university permission.
  • Write your roll number only on the right top corner of the title page of the answer book, and nowhere else.
  • Mobile phones, smart watches and any device that can help in the exam are prohibited.
  • No one may leave the hall before one hour is over.
  • No extra sheet is provided; plan your answers.
  • Unfair means cases are registered against anyone who breaks the rules.

Practical Exam Tips

  • Reach the centre at least 30 minutes early with your roll number slip and CNIC.
  • Bring your practical notebook or journal, signed by your college or teacher if required.
  • Revise the experiments, slides or specimens listed in your syllabus, and be ready for viva questions.
  • Carry your own stationery, calculator (where allowed) and lab coat for science subjects.
