UHS Lahore issues the 2026-27 merit and selection lists for all 34 private medical colleges in Punjab. The provisional order of merit is due on Friday, 13 November 2026, and the first college-wise selection list on Wednesday, 18 November 2026. Two more lists follow on 23 and 27 November.
Private colleges do not publish their own merit lists: UHS ranks every applicant in one order of merit and allots seats by each candidate’s college preferences. MBBS applications are open until Friday, 6 November 2026 (5:00 PM).

UHS says the number of selection lists may change under PM&DC or Government of Punjab directives.
How the Merit Is Calculated

To be considered, you need MDCAT 2026, 2025 or 2024 with at least 55% marks (an MDCAT score counts for three years from the test date) and HSSC with at least 60%, with Biology and Chemistry compulsory.
No extra marks are given for Hifz-e-Quran in 2026-27, under the PM&DC admission regulations 2025 and the Supreme Court order of 4 April 2023.
The 2026-27 policy gives private colleges 4,400 MBBS seats. Admissions are completed after three or more merit lists, and seats that fall vacant later are filled by vertical upgradation on merit and preference until the PM&DC deadline.
How to Check the Merit List
- Open uhs.edu.pk and go to the admissions section. All merit and selection lists are published there; UHS does not send call letters.
- Open the list for your programme and session 2026-27.
- Search the PDF (Ctrl+F) for your name, application number or CNIC.
- If you are selected, download the Rs 600,000 challan from the admission portal and pay it within three working days.
After Your Name Appears
- Pay the Rs 600,000 deposit to UHS within three working days, or the seat goes to the next candidate on merit.
- When joining, choose either to keep your allotted college or to stay in the running for a higher preference in the next list. This choice is final and cannot be changed later.
- After the last merit list, pay the remaining fee directly to the college, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly under PM&DC rules. UHS passes your Rs 600,000 deposit on to the college once admissions close.

for any medical undergraduate program you have to obtain 60% marks or if you want to do BSc nursing or science then 55% marks are acceptable
