This department PCP was established in Pakistan under the Pharmacy Act 1967 by the Pakistan Pharmacists Association PPA to legalize pharmacy education in the Country and to make register the pharmacists under the Act 1967. Since the time of its establishment, the PCP Council has set a separate course for those candidates who want to go for the Pharmacy educations as Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy Degree). The PCP is responsible to perform the duties in the registration of valid Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants, Publication of Text Book of Pharmacy, Enrollment, and examination of Apprentices in Pharmacy and as well ongoing courses for Hospital Pharmacists, Drug Inspection and Chemists.
