Admission Criteria & Fee Structure for M.A. / M.Sc or Equivalent
Admission is based on the basic criteria and additional criteria, if applicable to any individual / Constituent College / Department) the basic criteria for the MA / M. Sc or equivalent admission requires: (1/4 of matriculation + 1/5 of FA/F. Sc or equivalent + BA/B. Sc
Additional Marks*:
Hafiz-e-Quran ** = 20
Elective = 20
Optional = 10
Diploma = 20
Additional Elective = 10
Additional Optional = 05
Combination of subject = 10
Subject marks*** = Marks obtained
Any other = 5-10
In case of 100% academic efficacy obtained candidates merit percentage will be multiplied by 100 while in case of 70% academic efficacy obtained percentage will be multiplied by 70. Two marks will be deducted from the marks obtained out of 100 marks for each late year.
- The candidate must present a Hafiz-e-Quran certificate from a well-organized institution. In addition, the candidate must interviewed by departmental admissions committee to make sure that the candidate has learned the Holy Quran by heart and could read it from what part he / she is required to recite.
- When subject marks are included in the earnings marks as additional marks, the overall subject marks will be added to the common denominator of the total marks.
Basic Criteria for Diploma holders
(Marks obtained in DAE + Additional Marks*) + (Total Marks of Diploma) +Additional Marks includes:
Hafiz-e-Quran ** = 20
Elective = 20
Optional = 10
Diploma = 20
Additional Elective = 10
Additional Optional = 05
