A merit calculation method of the KPK medical and dental Colleges is not as complicated as the one given below is the method so you can calculate your merit at home easily.
- SSC or Equivalent qualification = 10%
- Adjusted HSc. marks or equivalent level marks= 40%
- Entrance Test Marks = 50%
Example:
If a student carries 76.5% in Matric, 79.1% in Inter (F.Sc), and 57.5% in the Entrance test of KMU then the merit will be calculated as
| Weightage for SSC | 76.5 x 0.1 = 7.65 |
| Weightage for F.Sc | 79.1 x 0.4 = 31.64 |
| Weightage for Entrance Test | 57.5 x 0.5 = 28.75 |
| Merit score of the candidate | a+b+c = 7.65+31.64+28.75 = 68.04 |
