The Higher Education Commission has announced PM Fee Reimbursement scheme 2018 for students of universities and postgraduate colleges. Students from less developed areas can apply for PM Fee reimbursement scheme. The total fee will be paid directly to university/college and students will be able to get the free education. This scheme is for deserving students who belong to less developed areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir. Fee Reimbursement scheme 2018 is initiative to empower higher education and to provide assistance to those students who left their studies due to financial hurdles.

PM Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students of government sector universities which comes under the territories of less developed areas are eligible
  • Aspirant must have the domicile of any of the area mentioned above
  • Evening program students can also apply for this scheme
  • Funds will only provide to students after the approval of their university or college
  • Those students who are registered on self-finance basis are not eligible
  • Those students who have domicile of other district but studying in any university which comes under the territory of less developed areas and vice versa is not elible
  • Candidates, who are already getting any other scholarship through HEC or PM scheme will also not consider eligible

  • Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Attock, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahwal Nagar, Multan, Lodhran, Khanewal, Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffar Garh, Rajan Pur, Layyah

KPK:

  • Chitral, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Malakand, Kohistan, Tank, D.I.Khan, Lakki Marwat, Batgram, Kala Dhaka, Torghar, Bannu, Hangu, Karak

Balochistan:

  • Kalat,Mastung,Khuzdar,Awaran,Washuk, Kharan/Rakhshan , Lasbela ,Ketch , Gwadar, Punjgur , Nasirabad, Jaffarabad ,Jhal Magsi,Bolan ,Quetta Urban, Quetta Rural,Pishin , Killa Abdulla ,Killa Saifullah,Barkhan ,Musa Khel, Loralai, Sheerani ,Zhob ,Dera Bugti ,Kohlu , Ziarat, Harnai , Sibi ,Nushki ,Chagai(Dalbandin), Turbat

PM Fee Reimbursement Scheme Registration Procedure:

Online registrations has started for PM Fee reimbursement scheme 2018. Those newly admitted in any government university can apply online at http:pmfrs.hec.gov.pk/. After that application will be approved by the focal person of your concern university / college. Those students who will meet with the eligibility criteria and approved after scrutiny of the document by the HEC will get financial assistance under this scheme.
