Culture is defined as essential whole which contains affects of human ideals, events and modes of living.
E.B. Taylor Defined as:
“Culture is a multifaceted whole which includes knowledge, viewpoint, art, morals, customs and all other capabilities and behavior acquired by man as a member of a society.”
So every great nation is enjoying its own culture, just as the Pakistani nation and Pakistani culture is very diverse due to its Islamic nature and rich historical background.
The Pakistani culture comprises numerous diverse cultures and racial groups such as the Punjabis, Kashmiris, Sindhis in east, Muhajirs, Makrani in the south; Baloch and Pashtun in the west; and the ancient Dardic, Wakhi, and Burusho communities in the north. The Pakistani culture greatly prejudiced by many of the surrounding countries’ cultures, such as the Turkic peoples, Persian, Arab, and other South Asian racial groups of the Subcontinent, Central Asia and the Middle East etc.
According to our deep observation the Pakistan is the sixth most crowded country in the world and after Indonesia it contains second largest Muslim population in the world. It is listed among the “Next Eleven” economies.
While the history of Pakistani culture as a self-governing nation starts to 1947, the history of the region leads it thousands of years back, during the period when this piece of land was a piece of the Indian subcontinent. In addition, the land is home to the well-known Khyber Pass, which is the route that many invaders into India used. These include Mogul invaders and Alexander the Great. Many centuries back a considerable number of Buddhists also used that northern part as a route, so Pakistan today has many interesting Buddhist sites and historical notes as part of its history. Punjab is a major part of country; it was the home of the founder of the Sikh religion, and still it is playing a significant role in Pakistan. Lines of division between India and Pakistan in northern border areas are unclear in places or in dispute.
So we can say that Pakistan is rich in culture and has because it has great religion Islam in his history. So visit ilm.com.pk and enhance your general knowledge…
