How to Match Your Answers with the Key

Students are given a double-sheeted form to attempt the paper. These two sheets are attached to each other. You are not allowed to detach them during the exam. Students have to attempt the answers on the upper sheet, and its impressions are automatically generated on the lower sheet.

Once the paper is complete, the invigilator collects the upper sheet. The lower sheet is detached and given to the student. When the answer key is announced, you can match answers with it to estimate your performance in the test.

Now moving towards the PMDC MDCAT Entry Test Answer sheet, it will be available by the evening of September 2025. So there is no need to go anywhere else. After attempting the Entry Test, just head back home and wait for the evening. The MDCAT Aggregate is the combined percentage of your Matric, FSc, and MDCAT scores. This calculated merit is used to determine whether a student is eligible to secure a seat in a medical or dental college. PMDC prepares the merit list based on these percentages.

How MDCAT Aggregate is Calculated?

Weightage Formula Approved by PMDC

Matriculation or equivalent: 10%
HSSC / FSc or equivalent: 40%
National MDCAT-2024: 50%

These three components contribute to the final MBBS merit list.

Example Calculation for MDCAT Aggregate

For example, if your mark in Matric is 1060/1100, your FSc score is 1050/1100, and in MDCAT you scored 185/200, then:

Total Aggregate =
[(1060 ÷ 1100) × 0.10] + [(1050 ÷ 1100) × 0.40] + [(185 ÷ 200) × 0.50]
Total Aggregate = 94%

MBBS: 65%
BDS: 55%
Only passing marks are not enough. Seats in public sector colleges are limited, so only high-merit students will qualify.

It is:

Can I get admission with just passing marks?

Only if your total aggregate is within merit range (usually 90%+ for public MBBS).

Is this calculator valid for NUMS or Aga Khan?

This formula is for PMDC/UHS-based institutes. NUMS and AKU have separate policies.
